Non-toxic, sustainable, recyclable boards manufactured using waste from the paper industry.

WHAT ARE HONEXT BOARDS?

With a vision to protect the planet, HONEXT Boards are manufactured from the paper industry’s waste: paper sludge. This innovation embodies the concept of waste as a valuable resource.

HONEXT Boards are versatile in their applications - from acoustic panels to cladding, shelving, and even temporary structures and supports for exhibitions.

WHY HONEXT BOARDS?

01

CARBON-NEGATIVE

HONEXT Boards are manufactured using a unique process that results in a carbon-negative product

02

made from waste

7 million tonnes of waste are produced by the pulp and paper industry each year - HONEXT uses this waste as its primary raw material

03

CLOSED-LOOP

After initial use, HONEXT Boards can be put back into the production line and manufactured into new boards

from useless sludge to sustainable building materials

Did you know that 40% of global CO2 emissions come from the construction industry? For HONEXT, doing less harm wasn't enough, a circular alternative needed to be offered.

With the paper industry downcycling cellulose fibres until they turn into primary sludge, HONEXT then upcycles that sludge into completely circular, fire-retardant fibreboards. In fact, for every 100m2 of HONEXT, 720 kg of cellulose waste is saved from ending up in landfills or being burnt.

The result? HONEXT Boards have been awarded Cradle-to-Cradle Certified Gold and Material Health Certificate™ Gold Level Version 4.0
